The Bouge d'ici Festival celebrates Montreal-based dance each January in Montreal’s Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood. Various events take place throughout the week, including a run of the Common Space/L'Espace Commun showcase, the Cabaret Bouge d'ici, Cinédanse Bouge d'ici and dance-related workshops.

Bouge d'ici was founded in 2009 to support the Montréal dance community, particularly emerging contemporary artists. It was founded as a reaction to the lack of realistic opportunities for emerging choreographers and dancers to present their work in professional contexts. Bouge d'ici is continuously attempting to fulfill its mandate of accessibility, creation, mentoring, artistic development and facilitation.
