Books 4 Kids Read 2 Adults

MainLine Theatre / Chat Perdu Productions

Books 4 Kids Read 2 Adults is what it sounds like.

While the lovely Tessa Brown reads from a book, its pages are projected on the wall behind her so the audience can simultaneously experience its magic.

Discover tales old & new, and chime in afterwards when we have a moderated discussion about each story!

The books that will be the topic of discussion this time are:

(1) I want my Hat Back.
(2) The Hole in the Dyke.
(3) The Giving Tree.
(4) The House That Crack Built.

Unlike an actual book club, do not endeavour to have fully read these books before arriving. Let yourself experience them for the first time at the event!

WARNING: This is a new event, and thus very experimental. Because this is the first time we are doing it, the format might change, even during the event itself. We apologize for its nature, which is in flux, and appreciate your understanding. Trying new things is how we create new wonders in the world. Further, the event might be a disaster, and no fun. So be prepared for that horrific eventuality, too.
