Séance #67 - Endless

Dr. Sketchy Montréal vous invite à son prochain événement : Endless. Cette année marquera le 25e anniversaire de la série "The Sandman" par Neil Gaiman et nous tenons à souligner cela avec une séance inspirée par les Éternels (Endless).

Nous vous invitons à venir dessiner trois des Éternels, incarnés par Desdemona von Minx, M.E.L. et Safa. L'horaire des poses sera ajusté afin d'accommoder de multiple modèles.

La séance aura lieu le samedi, 9 février, de 14:00h à 17:00h au Théâtre MainLine, 3997, boul. St-Laurent. L’entrée sera de 10 $ et n’oubliez pas votre cahier à dessin.

Fait intéressant : Les trois modèles ont déjà posé pour Dr. Sketchy, quoique Safa sera en première à Montréal, ayant déjà posé pour Dr. Sketchy à Pittsburgh et à Perth!

Session #67 - Endless

Dr. Sketchy Montreal invites you to its next event: Endless. This year will mark the 25th anniversary of The Sandman series by Neil Gaiman and we wanted to mark the occasion with a session inspired by The Endless.

We invite you to come draw three of the Endless, incarnated by Desdemona von Minx, M.E.L. and Safa. The schedule will be adjusted to accommodate multiple models.

The session will take place on Saturday, February 9, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the MainLine Theatre, 3997 St-Laurent Blvd. The cover will be $10 and don’t forget your sketchbook.

Fun fact: All three models have already posed for Dr. Sketchy, but Safa will be premiering in Montreal, having already posed for Dr. Sketchy in Pittsburgh and Perth!

INSIDE MADPOETIX STUDIO is revolutionizing our Soirées Intimes Series by allowing the audience to get to know the feature performer through an interview during the show live. The artist will be interviewed by our host Kym Dominique Ferguson @Mrkdferguson. This is a one of a kind experience. There will be 8 Open Mic spots available for all genres: spoken word, poetry, comedy, singers, clowns, dancers, you name it we welcome it. They are each given a 5 min timeslot.

The Variations Mile End dancers perform an original choreographed performance using The wizard of oz as inspiration!

What if you entered an empty rehearsal hall and suddenly an audience appears? Joseph Ste-Marie brings his experimental scripted/improvised one-man show, This Show is Broken back to the stage! This remount blends the 2021 Digital Theatre production from the Montreal FRINGE Festival and the original 2015 production at the 2nd annual Shortstanding Festival. Ste-Marie must perform his show as he explores his life, struggles, missteps, and tries to show that it’s not too late to pursue your dreams…. However, Joseph is challenged to be honest with himself so his show can be authentic as possible without being blinded by ambition.
