So: 2012 was not actually the end of the world. That didn’t happen so much. At least not for Matt Goldberg, creator and host of Montreal’s live true-life storytelling show, Confabulation. And while his world is still around, 2012 did mark a strange and surprising year for Matt, full of birth, death, and confusion. Okay -- One birth. One death. Constant confusion. A year can be long. A year can be short. Big Year is the true story of a year, and what a year means in a life.

The Bouge d'ici festival celebrates Montréal based dance in January 2015. Various events are taking place throughout the week, including a run of the Common Space/L'Espace Commun showcase, the famous Cabaret Bouge d'ici, Cinédanse Bouge d'ici and dance-related workshops.

Montreal — a city of stories. Unique people, places and events create a city that is rich in personal and political histories. Confabulation is a monthly showcase, dedicated to giving these stories a home, or at least a stage on which to play.
