Le Théatre MainLine et Le Festival St-Ambroise FRINGE de Montréal cherche un(e) candidat(e) enthousiaste, organisé(e),et débrouillard(e) qui travaillerait aux côtés de la Directrice générale et artistique et le Directeur d'administratif. Le/la candidat(e) aura l'occasion d'aider les directeurs à accomplir des taches variées et motivantes. Ce sera une occasion de travailler au sein d'une équipe fantastique qui produit un festival divers et stimulant qui se déroule à un rythme accéléré, en même temps qu'elle gère une salle de spectacle indépendante (le Théâtre MainLine et la galerie MainLine).
Le/la candidat(e) idéal(e) serait bilingue, maitriserait bien les logiciels standards (la suite Microsoft Office, entre autres), aurait de l'expérience et des connaissances dans le milieu des arts de la scène, et aurait une excellente capacité de communication écrite et orale. De l'expérience dans les domaines de la production événementielle, la régie/direction de scène, ou la gestion de production seraient un atout.
Ceci n'est pas un poste rémunéré. Il s'agit d'un stage qui pourrait offrir des crédits académiques/universitaires si votre programme y est favorable.Les heures sont variables -- à discuter avec la Directrice.

PRODUCTION/ADMINISTRATION INTERNSHIP

MainLine Theatre and The St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Festival is seeking an enthusiastic, organized and resourceful individual to work along side the Executive & Artistic Director and General Manager. The candidate will assist the Director with a variety of tasks. This stimulating and challenging opportunity to be a part of a fantastic team will help one learn the ins and outs of a fast-paced, exciting and diverse festival and independent arts venue: MainLine Theatre and the MainLine Gallery.
The ideal candidate would be bilingual, comfortable with Microsoft Office, have experience in the performing arts and present good communication skills. Event planning, stage management, production management are all assets.
This is not a paid position, however it is an internship in which you can receive credits for school, if that can be arranged with your program. Hours can vary depending on the arrangement made with the Executive and Artistic Director.

What if you entered an empty rehearsal hall and suddenly an audience appears? Joseph Ste-Marie brings his experimental scripted/improvised one-man show, This Show is Broken back to the stage! This remount blends the 2021 Digital Theatre production from the Montreal FRINGE Festival and the original 2015 production at the 2nd annual Shortstanding Festival. Ste-Marie must perform his show as he explores his life, struggles, missteps, and tries to show that it’s not too late to pursue your dreams…. However, Joseph is challenged to be honest with himself so his show can be authentic as possible without being blinded by ambition.

Whether you wield your pencil like a wand or are just beginning your artistic journey, all skill levels are welcome. Simply grab your sketchbook, roll for initiative, and let your imagination soar!

Les artistes de tango in fusion s’expriment à travers d’histoires personnelles une extase de la danse du tango dans son essence. Ce qui permet aussi avec la diversité des autres types de mouvements et musique. une connexion avec le spectateur afin de visualiser et briser différents stéréotypes socioculturels."
