Revolution They Wrote: Short Works Feminist Theatre and Performance Festival presented in partnership with MainLine Theatre is a 4-day event that aims to present new feminist works. With these works, we create an artistic space that is primed to educate, provoke and inspire change both on the stage and in our daily lives.

The privileged and spoiled daughter of an Earl finds herself falling for a humble footman with a secret past, though 'footman' may not be the best way to describe her love interest. When it is revealed that this cautious servant reciprocates these feelings, the two are forced to confront the societal barriers standing in their way.

How To Be A Good Modern Woman
Presented by TEAM GRECO
“How to be a Good Modern Woman” is an introductory course for women looking to assess their sad lives, and assert themselves into the world. We will teach you how to seem strong, learn to surpass your female peers, and get the life you deserve. A superior one.

Fragments of Her Rising
By Cleopatra Boudreau
Fragments of Her Rising explores the role of sexuality and intersectionality in the lives of two very different women. Song, poem, and found text intertwin to express some of the stigmas facing women and their bodies today.

Ari Shaffir is a Just for Laughs Festival favourite, with regular appearances on The Nasty Show, live recordings of his comedy podcast The Skeptic Tank, as well as past hosting duties for his long-form storytelling show This is Not Happening on Comedy Central. Now he is bringing you even more raucous laughs with another year of his storyteller series, renamed and reclaimed! Ari selflessly shares what can only be his embarrassingly true real life tales.

In this most Canadian of events, a lineup of scintillating SORRYtellers come to confess their trespasses against others in this unusual twist on a storytelling event. Over two hours, this apology anthology will leave you wanting to get your own guilty burdens off your chest. And you can! If you are interested in contributing to this communal confessional, please email the organizers at inconsolablecat@hotmail.com with MY BAD in the subject heading and a brief summary what you did.
