The SMUT SLAM is back in Montréal and smuttier than ever! If you missed it last June, now's your chance to come out and experience this fast-paced night of storytelling based on real life, real lust, real sex. The theme for this SMUT SLAM is "Best Laid Plans..." (tales of lust aforethought and complicated scenes)

SMUT SLAMMERS sign up on the night to tell a 5-minute piece of smut/sex/erotica, based on their real lives and ideally relating to the theme of "Best Laid Plans", and a lucky eight to ten names will be drawn at random. There will be a team of 3 to 5 judges - interested amateurs, storytellers, theater people, writers, and anyone who loves sex stories.

NOT A SMUT SLAMMER? Don't worry. The audience is in for a good time at SMUT SLAM! Sit back and enjoy. All we ask is:

SMUT SLAM creator and host Cameryn Moore is the award-winning writer and performer of Phone Whore, slut (r)evolution, and her newest solo show, power | play, which is coming to the Montréal Fringe Festival in June 2012. Co-host JD "Hobbes" Hickey is a local award-winning storyteller who has been telling unbelievable tales for over 15 years. In June 2011, he won the "Once Upon a Slam" Finals in Ottawa and has recently qualified to compete in the 2012 "Once Upon a Slam" Finals as well. He hosts his own Story Slam series in Montreal (www.slamtastique.ca), has published two storytelling CDs, and performs at spoken word events all around Montréal. His sexual exploits are not as well known, but legends abound.
