As the runners up to the Bouge d'ici Most Promising Choreography Award at the St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Festival, Sora Danse is proud to present SORA as Bouge d'ici's opening night performance. SORA is the first creation by this young dance company. The work questions ones regard to self identity and more.

Runner up du prix Frankie ''Chorégraphie, Chorégraphe le plus prometteur'', Sora a le grand privilège de performer leur spectacle complet, comme numéro d'ouverture du Festival Bouge d'ici. La première création du collectif du même nom a pour point de départ le questionnement, à la fois simple et complexe, du rapport de soi avec les autres : l'identité. Comment l'identité d'un individu se matérialise-t-elle? Comment investit-elle le corps d'un autre pour s'y transposer? Comment celui-ci en fait son terrain de jeu, l'explore, s'en imprègne pour finalement réussir ;a s'en libérer? L'Identité se dessine d'abord à travers un parcours individuel où chacune des interprètes semble prisonnière. Un parcours qu'elles suivent sinueusement jusqu'à ce qu'un croisement s'avère inévitable...
