Workshop: INTRODUCTION TO CONTEMPORARY DANCE (for absolute beginners)

Allison Burns

This workshop is a gentle introduction to contemporary dance. It is designed for anyone who has been curious about the style, or movement in general. There is absolutely no dance experience required. Come feel what that brilliant body of yours can do! Participants should wear comfortable clothing that allows a full range of movement. Also, bring socks and prepare to dance without your shoes.

“What a sublime workshop! Allison was so wonderful in creating a safe and welcoming space for exploration of movement and body.”
- Kathy Slamen, workshop participant
