MOVIE MONDAYS: CLASH OF THE TITANS! In honour of Dionysus, Movie Mondays is proud to be showing an encore presentation of Clash of the Titans! A young Harry Hamlen is Perseus, baring a scandalous mini toga and bearing the love of Princess Andromeda as the Gods and Goddesses toy with his destiny. With his trusty Pegasus and a clockwork owl, he will battle with The Gorgon, Medusa, with the Kraken, monstrous monster of the briny sea and with Day-for-Night photography. Sir Laurence Olivier is Zeus, so take that Liam Neeson! Worth it for the claymation alone. Doors at 9:30, with trivial and film at 10. Always Free but don't forget about the potluck snackery!

UNCALLED FOR with FRENZY! Uncalled For teams up in a double-bill with Toronto sketch comedy buddies Frenzy in a partly sketch, partly improv, partly clothed, all awesome night of delightfully comic comedy! Come see what some of the people we like get up to on stage, and whether or not anything we do can stack up to it!

THE CODY RIVERS SHOW: RIGHT BACK WHERE WE FINISHED. The Cody Rivers Show creates kinetic and unpredictable comedy theatre that has amazed audiences and defied description for the past five years.
Pushing the envelopes of physical theatre, dance, music, and high­ concept comedy, The Cody Rivers Show delivers unique shows unlike any other comedy act, past or present. Their latest new piece – ‘Right Back Where We Finished’ – sprints between precocious youths, game theory, pioneer­era linguistics, ants and prairie dogs, the confessions of an unruly teen, eccentric old men, baby jockeys, ping­pong, and oh so much more. It’s like running a marathon, doing algebra, and eating cake at the same time.

24 HEURES POUR JOUER au MainLine - Artistes recherchés
Nuits d'encre recherche auteurs, metteurs en scène et acteurs professionnels intéressés à participer à la nouvelle édition du 24 Heures pour jouer!, un marathon de création théâtrale dont le fruit sera présenté le dimanche 7 mars prochain au Théâtre Mainline.
Le samedi en soirée, les participants se réunissent pour former les équipes. Les auteurs se mettent ensuite au travail : ils ont jusqu'à l'aube pour écrire une pièce en un acte, à partir d’un thème donné, d'une durée de 15 minutes. Le dimanche à 8h, les textes sont soumis aux metteurs en scène, qui disposent, avec les comédiens, d'une journée pour répéter et mettre en scène les pièces. L'aventure prend fin avec la présentation des créations le dimanche à 20h.
Marie-Hélène Brousseau et Dominic Quarré, co-directeurs de Nuits d'encre, organisent les 24 Heures pour jouer! depuis février 2008. Les événements connaissent toujours un vif succès.
