Pushing the envelopes of physical theatre, dance, music, and high­ concept comedy, The Cody Rivers Show delivers unique shows unlike any other comedy act, past or present. It’s like running a marathon, doing algebra, and eating cake at the same time.

Friday 5 Mar @ 11 pm, $15. $10 with your ticket from the March 5th show of The Mid-Life Crisis of Dionysus.

DR SKETCHY with/avec MISS MAE - Dr. Sketchy Montréal vous invite à son prochain événement : Goddess. Nous avons le plaisir d'acceuillir à nouveau comme modèle la jolie Miss Mae, qui posera pour nous en déesse gréco-romaine. C'est aussi elle qui a posé pour le premier Dr. Sketchy Montréal en 2007!

La session aura lieu samedi, le 6 mars, de 14:00 à 17:00 au superbe Théâtre MainLine, 3997 Saint-Laurent. L'entrée sera de 10 $ ou gratuite si vous vous présentez en toge! N'oubliez pas votre cahier à dessin! Il y aura aussi sur place une petite table de marchandises Dr. Sketchy.

Dr. Sketchy Montreal invites you to its next event: Goddess. We are pleased to welcome back the lovely Miss Mae as our model, who will be posing for us as a Greco-Roman goddess. She was also our first ever Dr. Sketchy Montreal model in 2007!

The session will take place on Saturday, March 6, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the superb MainLine Theater, 3997 Saint-Laurent. The cover will be $10 or free if you show up in a toga! Don't forget your sketchbook! A small Dr. Sketchy merchandise table will also be on location.

24 HEURES POUR JOUER au MainLine - Artistes recherchés
Nuits d'encre recherche auteurs, metteurs en scène et acteurs professionnels intéressés à participer à la nouvelle édition du 24 Heures pour jouer!, un marathon de création théâtrale dont le fruit sera présenté le dimanche 7 mars prochain au Théâtre Mainline.
Le samedi en soirée, les participants se réunissent pour former les équipes. Les auteurs se mettent ensuite au travail : ils ont jusqu'à l'aube pour écrire une pièce en un acte, à partir d’un thème donné, d'une durée de 15 minutes. Le dimanche à 8h, les textes sont soumis aux metteurs en scène, qui disposent, avec les comédiens, d'une journée pour répéter et mettre en scène les pièces. L'aventure prend fin avec la présentation des créations le dimanche à 20h.
Marie-Hélène Brousseau et Dominic Quarré, co-directeurs de Nuits d'encre, organisent les 24 Heures pour jouer! depuis février 2008. Les événements connaissent toujours un vif succès.

ANISA'S MOVIE MONDAYS presents: THE KARATE KID! "Ah, Daniel-san, Karate in your head and in your heart! Wax on, wax off." On Monday, March 8th, Movie Mondays will present one of the greatest love stories ever told, The Karate Kid. Marvel as Mr. Miyagi takes a dopey, punching bag-of-a-Cinderfella and turns him into Ralph Macchio! Confusticate as the ancient arts that are Martial are broken down into everyday chores that will make you exclaim, "I've been learning Karate my whole life without knowing it!". Mildly enthuse as good triumphs over misdirected teen angst! Seriously, a cultural juggernaut of its day, The Karate Kid will leave you wondering why they haven't remade it yet... oh wait. They have. Trivial and Film at 8 chez Mainline Theatre (3997 St-Laurent), bring on the potluck snackery!
