REEFER MADNESS: THE MUSICAL! Inspired by the original 1936 film of the same name, this raucous musical comedy takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downward spiral filled with evil jazz music, sex and violence. This dynamic show will go straight to your head! Directed and choreographed by Nichole Carlone, featuring George Bekiaris, Christopher Hayes, Jade Hassouné, Helena Patte , Marc-André Poulin, Joanne Sarazen, Emily Skahan, Émilie Barrette, Hannah Eichenwald, Julie Goldenberg, Christopher Pineda and Karelle Rémillard.

PAID APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITY! As part of the Conseil des Arts de Montréal's program SUPPORT FOR FIRST WORK EXPERIENCES IN ARTS-RELATED POSITIONS, the Montreal FRINGE is looking for a full-time assistant to the Festival Director.Tasks will include communication with artists in English and French, collecting information for the website and program, helping organize fundraising events and outreach, and many other tasks. Candidates must be under 30, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (for over a year), and have obtained a post-secondary degree (preferably in an artistic field) within the last five years. STAGE RÉMUNÉRÉE! Dans le cadre du programme du Conseil des arts de Montréal, Soutien aux premières expériences de travail dans des fonctions liées au domaine artistique, le FRINGE cherche un(e) stagiare pour agir comme assistant(e) à la directrice du festival. Les tâches inclueront la communication avec les artistes (en français et en anglais), récolter des informations pour le site web et programme, aider la directrice à organiser des événements de levée de fonds et développement des publics. Les participants possèdent un diplôme post-secondaire, soit universitaire ou collégial dans un domaine artistique préférablement. Ils ont entre 16 et 30 ans au moment du dépôt de la demande et ont obtenu leur diplôme depuis moins de cinq ans. De plus, ils éprouvent des difficultés à intégrer le marché du travail. Ils sont citoyens canadiens ou immigrants reçus résidant au Canada depuis plus d'un an. Durée du stage : du 8 novembre 2010 à la fin juin 2011.
