MIROV
L’artiste émergente montréalaise Mirov présente sa première exposition solo, intitulée ART THRPY du 22 au 25 février. Elle y propose une série de toiles grand format dans son style hybride combinant collage avec divers médiums, ainsi que deux installations multimédia immersives.
Mirov concentre son art autour de l’expérience humaine. Que ce soit dans ses toiles imposantes ou encore dans ses œuvres de street art qu’elle appose clandestinement dans les rues de Montréal, Mirov a toujours le même but: plus loin le questionnement des gens envers leur propre nature, leur perception de soi, leurs peurs et leurs propres limites.

The emerging Montreal artist Mirov presents her first solo exhibition, ART THRPY, from February 22nd to 25th. She will showcase a series of large scale canvases in her hybrid signature style combining collage with various mediums, as well as two immersive multimedia installations.
Mirov concentrates her art around the human experience. Whether it is in her imposing canvases or in her street art works that she clandestinely affixes to the walls of Montreal, Mirov always has the same goal: to push their questioning further towards their own nature, their perception of themselves, their fears and their own limits.

INSIDE MADPOETIX STUDIO is revolutionizing our Soirées Intimes Series by allowing the audience to get to know the feature performer through an interview during the show live. The artist will be interviewed by our host Kym Dominique Ferguson @Mrkdferguson. This is a one of a kind experience. There will be 8 Open Mic spots available for all genres: spoken word, poetry, comedy, singers, clowns, dancers, you name it we welcome it. They are each given a 5 min timeslot.
What if you entered an empty rehearsal hall and suddenly an audience appears? Joseph Ste-Marie brings his experimental scripted/improvised one-man show, This Show is Broken back to the stage! This remount blends the 2021 Digital Theatre production from the Montreal FRINGE Festival and the original 2015 production at the 2nd annual Shortstanding Festival. Ste-Marie must perform his show as he explores his life, struggles, missteps, and tries to show that it’s not too late to pursue your dreams…. However, Joseph is challenged to be honest with himself so his show can be authentic as possible without being blinded by ambition.
