Festival SOlOS Festival

Company website

Le stand-up toujours hilarant Mike Carrozza.

You know what's great about multidisciplinary events? Them being packed with awesome performances, that's what. And this one's no different. To celebrate the creation of our festival, we've invited some of our talented friends to come perform for ya, so we can raise a few extra dollars. So come enjoy the following:

The musical stylings of Emily Skahan, Victoria Laberge, Hector Breustique and Mathias Mental.
Stand-up comedy by the always-great Mike Carrozza.
Show excerpts by Jeff Gandell, Stéfan Cédilot and possibly Alain Mercieca.

And we'll be raffling off tons of great prizes throughout the evening, so you're bound to leave with something awesome in your pocket. Admission is PWYC, with a suggested price of 6$. All proceeds from this event will go towards the production of the first edition of Solos, happening Nov 6-9 at MainLine Theatre.

The clock is ticking: Morning Post editor Walter Burns pulls every trick in the book to stop his ex-wife and star reporter from leaving town forever to marry another man - and save an inmate headed for death row along the way.

This screwball comedy/drama started life as the stage play The Front Page before becoming a popular film starring Rosalind Russell and Cary Grant. Snowglobe Theatre's production is an original stage adaptation of both by director Peter Giser.

Late Company is a powerful new drama that delves into the shattering aftershocks of bullying, homophobia, mental health, and teen suicide. It’s a poignantly relevant contemporary story of forgiveness, accountability and reprisal.

The call for submissions is officially open for the fourth annual Short Works Feminist Theatre Festival.
