We are so excited to be able to support yet another year of feminist theatre and performance. RTW is a 4 day festival of new and in development performances by a variety of artists which aims to provide a platform for feminist artists to explore, challenge and disrupt our ideas of feminism through performance.
This comical fundraiser will feature the very funny and entrancing:

Le cagibi is on the ground floor, and wheelchair accessible, though there is a 3 inch step to get into the back room where the stage is. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom.This event will not have ASL interpretation however part of this years goal is to raise the funds for hiring an ASL translator for the festival itself. Babysitting available on 24hr notice.

What if you entered an empty rehearsal hall and suddenly an audience appears? Joseph Ste-Marie brings his experimental scripted/improvised one-man show, This Show is Broken back to the stage! This remount blends the 2021 Digital Theatre production from the Montreal FRINGE Festival and the original 2015 production at the 2nd annual Shortstanding Festival. Ste-Marie must perform his show as he explores his life, struggles, missteps, and tries to show that it’s not too late to pursue your dreams…. However, Joseph is challenged to be honest with himself so his show can be authentic as possible without being blinded by ambition.
The Creator of the Universe is coming to Montréal for the first time ever! God takes the stage in the form of Montréal actor Donald Rees in An Act of God: the divinely funny, critically acclaimed Broadway hit play by David Javerbaum, in which God and His devoted angels answer the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since creation.

Les artistes de tango in fusion s’expriment à travers d’histoires personnelles une extase de la danse du tango dans son essence. Ce qui permet aussi avec la diversité des autres types de mouvements et musique. une connexion avec le spectateur afin de visualiser et briser différents stéréotypes socioculturels."
