Social Media Assistant

10 hours/week at $15/hour
Contract from May 5 to July 2, 2021

MainLine Theatre is looking to hire a part-time Social Media Assistant to work as a member of the St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival communications team. The ideal candidate is interested in online promotion and the performing arts. Tasks will include the implementation of the company social media strategy, including content creation/translation and dissemination on socials (ie: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). The role requires an independent and self-motivated individual who is professional and comfortable working with computers (at a minimum familiarity with word processing, excel-like programs and Canva). In accordance with health regulations, most of the work for this position will be completed from home. The candidate must be fully bilingual reading and writing (French and English). The Social Media Assistant must be available to start May 5 and work until July 2.

Le Théâtre MainLine cherche à embaucher un·e assistant·e aux médias sociaux à temps partiel pour travailler en tant que membre de l'équipe des communications du Festival St-Ambroise Fringe de Montréal. La candidature idéale sera celle d’une personne qui s'intéresse à la promotion en ligne et aux arts de la scène. Les tâches comprendront la mise en œuvre de la stratégie de médias sociaux de la compagnie, y compris la création / traduction de contenu et la diffusion sur les réseaux sociaux (par exemple: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). Le poste requiert une personne indépendante et motivée, professionnelle et à l'aise avec les ordinateurs (ayant au minimum une familiarité avec le traitement de texte, les programmes de type Excel et Canva). Conformément à la réglementation en matière de santé, la plupart des tâches pour ce poste seront effectuées à domicile. Le ou candidat·e doit être parfaitement bilingue à l’écrit et à la lecture (français et anglais). L'assistant·e aux médias sociaux doit être disponible pour commencer le 5 mai et travailler jusqu'au 2 juillet.
