What if you entered an empty rehearsal hall and suddenly an audience appears? Joseph Ste-Marie brings his experimental scripted/improvised one-man show, This Show is Broken back to the stage! This remount blends the 2021 Digital Theatre production from the Montreal FRINGE Festival and the original 2015 production at the 2nd annual Shortstanding Festival. Ste-Marie must perform his show as he explores his life, struggles, missteps, and tries to show that it’s not too late to pursue your dreams…. However, Joseph is challenged to be honest with himself so his show can be authentic as possible without being blinded by ambition.

Et si vous entriez dans une salle de répétition vide et que soudain un public apparaissait ? Joseph Ste-Marie ramène sur scène son one-man show expérimental scénarisé/improvisé, This Show is Broken ! Cette reprise mélange la production de théâtre numérique 2021 du Festival FRINGE de Montréal et la production originale de 2015 du 2e Festival annuel Shortstanding. Ste-Marie doit présenter son spectacle en explorant sa vie, ses luttes, ses faux pas et en essayant de montrer qu'il n'est pas trop tard pour poursuivre ses rêves…. Cependant, Joseph est mis au défi d'être honnête avec lui-même afin que son spectacle soit aussi authentique que possible sans être aveuglé par l'ambition.
