“I’ll tell you about punk rock. Punk rock is a word used by dilettantes and heartless manipulators… And it’s a term that’s based on contempt. It’s a term that’s based in fashion, style, elitism, Satanism, and everything that’s rotten about rock’n’roll.” —Iggy Pop, 1977

Loud. In your face. Sexual but not sexy. NO FUN is an interdisciplinary dance performance inspired by the music and movement of punk icon Iggy Pop. This is a show that laughs in the face of failure, reaches out and strangles people, and doesn’t take itself too seriously. For 50 minutes, three dancers and four musicians hit you full force with a giant wall of movement and sound, leaving you feeling somewhere between “F*ck yeah!” and “What the hell just happened?” Grab some earplugs on your way in and leave your expectations in the lobby. We will have a real cool time tonight.

WARNING: This show contains coarse language, awkward silences, wailing guitars, underpants, and absolutely NO FUN.

Meltdowns, diagrams, textures, vampires... what is it like to be autistic? And is it possible to convey that experience to others? There's only one way to find out: by trying, for better or for worse.
