Set in post-WWII Hollywood, Between Night and Day tells the story of the wife of a shell-shocked soldier. Presented from multiple perspectives – the vibrant color of Rose's burgeoning love for a handsome waiter and the stark blacks and whites of the film noir world in which she works – the play takes the audience from Rose’s crumbling domesticity to the shady docks and smoky bars of a crime kingpin. Split between the dictates of society and the yearnings of her heart, Rose must find a way to navigate the heartbreaking and heart-pumping travails of her dueling existence – or die trying.

Mais ne vous inquiétez pas, il en a l’habitude … Revenu d’outre tombe, Oscar Metenier vous invite avec Lui à subir le Baiser de Sang et a affronter les Infernales.

Who is Jack Callaghan? He’s a man you might find carving through the Bornean jungle in a bullet-riddled jeep. He’s a man you might find swapping his tux for an unconscious guard’s uniform at the evil Baron’s masquerade ball. He’s a man you might find swinging on a swastika banner to drop-kick anachronistic SS troops! And he’s a man you might find investigating a spike in shovel sales at the Home Depot!

“CALLAGHAN!” is a classic pulp adventure filled with dastardly villains, hair-raising chases, soul-wrenching monologues, wry wit and other adorable machismo. The show captures all the excitement of a Hollywood blockbuster with intricately choreographed action sequences all happening right before your eyes in an unprecedented theatrical event made possible only through the quick wit of acclaimed Toronto comedy group Sex T-Rex! Watch in delight as Callaghan grimaces through a close escape and tries to think of something clever to say! Gasp in anticipation as a nameless goon decides weather it takes more than one punch to take him out of the action! Nod in shrewd appreciation of the parts that were clearly worked out beforehand!

Scary Tales & Broken Hearts is a new creative work choreographed and directed by Lynsey Billing and performed by Entre-Deux Dance Company (Sandra Beaulieu, Gabriel Doucet, Geneviève Lauzon, Léa Robert, Melissa Gervais). It is largely inspired by fairy tales, childhood fears, books and art work by Edward Gorey and Tim Burton. The show will take the audience into a macabre, satirical world of fantasy using dance, music and visual arts in a series of non-linear short stories.

Performing original music for the project will be Esmerine (Sarah Pagé, Becky Foon, Bruce Cawdron, Andrew Barr), a percussion loaded instrumental group from Montreal. Their music is arranged for cello, drums, glockenspiel, marimba, harp as well as many other percussion and found sounds. Their haunting sound and eerie but delicate vibe will match the overall macabre, dark theme as well as contrast by bringing an overwhelmingly beautiful aspect to the show.
