In the summer of 2014, an intrepid team of documentarians set off to chronicle the adventures of artists touring the Canadian Fringe Festival circuit. After 10 cities, over 18,000 kilometres, countless hours of interviews and more coffee than your doctor would advise, they collected a treasure trove of the stories behind the stories and the scenes behind the scenes.
The result - On the Fringe, a feature-length documentary that takes you on a fun and poignant road trip through this undeniable force in the world theatre scene.
Featuring: Martin Dockery, Vanessa Quesnelle, Jem Rolls, Nancy Kenny, Robert Grier, Graham Kent, Morgan Murray & Danielle Spilchen. Special appearances: Chase Padgett (6 Guitars), TJ Dawe (Burn Job), Tara Travis (Six Wives of Henry VIII), as well as various other artists, volunteers, Fringe staff and patrons. Music for the film generously donated by a variety of Fringe performers – please see website for a full credit list.

The artist will be interviewed by our host Kym Dominique Ferguson @Mrkdferguson. This is a one of a kind experience. There will be 8 Open Mic spots available for all genres: spoken word, poetry, comedy, singers, clowns, dancers, you name it we welcome it. They are each given a 5 min timeslot.
